Tammy Rogerson (H.B.Music, B.Ed, ARCT) retired in 2020 from a very successful teaching career with the Waterloo Region District School Board. Originally from North Bay, she taught at Bluevale and Cameron Heights Collegiates before establishing a successful Kindermusik studio in Kitchener which she operated for 14 years.
She directed the Waterloo County Teachers’ choir for six years before joining the staff at Eastwood Collegiate in 2009 as a vocal music teacher in the Integrated Arts Program. While at Eastwood, Tammy’s choirs received municipal, provincial and national recognition. They performed in the region’s Kodaly Festival, Kitchener Waterloo Chamber Orchestra, Kiwanis Festival, on CBC Radio 1, and several times with the Kitchener Waterloo Symphony at the Centre in The Square. Her voice students can be found on stage with Mirvish Productions, Drayton Entertainments, KWMP, Sheridan and Randolph Colleges, and at Wilfrid Laurier and Western Universities. She is an avid hiker, sings in KOROKO choir, travels, and volunteers with seniors. This is her fourth year with Morphy Music.
