Henrietta Wierenga
Henrietta has been playing and performing for twenty years. Henrietta has obtained her Elementary Teaching Certificate and is currently working towards her Intermediate Teaching Certificate. She has participated in many festivals including the Music Festival in Mount Forest, the Kiwanis Music Festival in Elmira and the Kiwanis Music Festival in Guelph. She has accompanied choirs, solo musicians and her church congregation. She has experience performing as a soloist for concerts, weddings, and public events. Henrietta has explored other instruments, and has had 5 years of organ lessons.
Henrietta has been teaching piano and theory independently for 7 years. She takes a great interest in developing technical skills, rhythm and style. She appreciates the distinct styles between musical eras. She especially loves the romantic style which brings personal and emotional designs, while providing contrasting dynamics. Henrietta is upbeat and passionate with an enthusiastic love for music.
